We invite you on sightseeing tour for seeing the main sights of Moscow. You’ll pass the historical center of the city, see the Kremlin, the Bolshoy Theater, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, and approach Lomonosov Moscow State University to enjoy an incredible panoramic view from Vorobyevy Gory. During the excursion you’ll learn the history of Moscow, the history of its development, about the way its architectural look has changed throughout various epochs, especially recently, that you can see for yourselves when coming closer to the Moscow city complex, a new business district of Moscow. to the historical city center, to the Red Square. Strolling through the biggest square of Moscow.

Metro Tour

The Moscow metro is probably the world’s most magnificent subway. Beautiful, ornate and grand, decked out with stunning examples of socialist realist art, the Moscow Metro is the world’s largest subway system in terms of passenger rides, carrying eight to nine million passengers on an average weekday. 

Arbat street walking tour

It is one of the oldest streets in Moscow. Its name comes from the word «Arbad» or «rabad» which means «suburb». In the years 1974 — 1986 Arbat became Pedestrian Street with many shops, cafes, shopping areas, restaurants, street vendors and so on. Today Arbat Street retains its own unique Moscow look of past centuries.

Red Square & Kremlin excursion

It is the old fortress called Kremlin, was built in the XII century. Even now, all the major organs of political and religious government is located on its territory. In the grounds of the Kremlin are represented monuments of six centuries each of which left their mark on the architectural image of the Kremlin. These monuments are witnesses of the most important events in the history of Russia. In the territory of the Kremlin, you will see the Assumption Cathedral, Cathedral Arkhanguelsky, the Belfry of Ivan the Great and other important monuments of the country. 

Kremlin Armoury excursion

It is a museum of the great treasures of Russian princes, which was founded in the fourteenth century during the government of the Great Moscow Prince Ivan Kalita. From its founding until the eighteenth century the Armory collected weapons, objects of gold, silver, precious stones etc. 

Decorative art objects were donated by foreign ambassadors, collection of arms, XIII-XVIII centuries, clothing, textiles, jewelry. Today at the Armory unique samples are exposed. In the halls of the Armory are the gold, silver, precious stones, ivory, porcelain. Clothes of the czars, decorated with pearls and precious stones, carriages and the famous Easter eggs of Carlo Faberge

Excursion around Sviyazhsk Island

Sviyazhsk-Island located in the picturesque estuary of Sviyaga River on a hill “High Mountain”. Abundant nature, surrounding shallow, waters of bays and islands attracted people since ancient times. Distance from Kazan quite small, up to the Volga, just over 30 km. Sviyazhsk – it’s historical and cultural gem of the Republic of Tatarstan. The ancient fortress built in Medieval times during the reign of Ivan the Terrible, served as a military outpost in the Volga region and the place of rest and preparation of military units to march on the impregnable fortress of Kazan. After the capture of Kazan Island-hail continued to live and tell their memories of the best and most serious times. In this city, the spirit of the history and life is felt in every monument, street, back alley. The tour route includes unique historical monuments: the Cathedral of Holy Virgin, one of the oldest wooden churches of Russia – the Church of the Holy Trinity, the current Assumption Monastery with its 17th century architectural monument, the Museum of Sviyazhsk, Stables and workshops, a walk through the county Sviyazhsk.

At 30 km from Kazan on the banks of the lake, in the reserve woods located Raif monastery.

Its main shrine — is the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Georgia. The perfect place for visiting the source of living water, and the chapel, where under the guidance of his mentor’s going to serve Vespers and Matins. The monastery complex consists of Cathedral in honor of the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Georgian icon of the Mother of God, Church in honor of the Holy Fathers in Sinai and Raif Belfry, with the gate church in honor of the Archangel Michael. You will learn about the unique history of the monastery, you can take the healing water and visit the miraculous icon.

DAY 4 :  KAZAN

Kazan Kremlin – a unique complex of archaeological, historical and architectural monuments that have arisen and the functioning from the city’s founding to the present day.

In 2000 the Kazan Kremlin was included in the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage. Complex objects are managed by the State Historical and Architectural Museum-Reserve “Kazan Kremlin.”

You will see the Spassky tower, leaning tower Syuyumbike, and government buildings, visit the Kul-Sharif Mosque and the Cathedral of the Annunciation.

DAY 6 : Ekaterinburg

Ekaterinburg city sightseeing tour: The border between Asia and Europe, Tatishev Statue, Ekaterinburg Square, Yeltsin Palace, Ekaterinburg cathedrals. The Ural Mountains are regarded as the border between Europe and Asia. To the west of the Urals lies European Russia, the cradle of the Russian culture and to the east lays the vast land of Siberia. You will visit the obelisk between Europe and Asia. You can put one foot in Europe and another one in Asia and take some unique photographs. On the way you will stop at the memorial complex, which was set up in 1995 in honour of the victims of Stalin’s repression. On this tour you will have excellent views over the City Pond, Prospect Lenina, the Hill of Ascension and its ancient church founded in 1792. You will visit the main «historical sites» of Ekaterinburg and see the birth-place of the town — the Historic Square, the Dam, monument of founders of the city — Tatischev and Gennin, Peter’s Court, the Church of Blood at the Romanov Death Site, the Chapel of St. Elizabeth, the Square of the Soviet Army, the Square of the 1905 Revolution.

DAY 7 Novosibirsk

Evening arrival to Novosibirsk between 19:00 -20;00, meeting with guide and transport. Transport to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Novosibirsk Ethnography Museum excursion

Visit of the famous Geology Museum at Geology Research Institute and the Open-Air Train Museum (a collection of the old Trans-Siberian trains), and the Ob reservoir – an artificial sea.

Irkutsk city sightseeing tour

Enjoy a 3-hour city tour by car. It starts at the historical part of the city: Epiphany Cathedral, the oldest stone-structure Church of our Saviour, Polish Roman Catholic Church. The tour leads you through the Kirov Square and circus to the Znamensky Convent, the only convent left in the city. On its territory you’ll discover the revered necropolis where some Decembrists are buried.

Then we go to the main street of Irkutsk, the Karl Marks Street. You’ll ride along the street to get to the Angara river embankment, where you’ll see the monument to Alexander III. 

Complete the tour with the visit to the district of historic wooden buildings.

Transfer to Listvyanka

Then you are welcome to start exploring lake Baikal in Listvyanka settlement.  This is perhaps one of the oldest Russian settlements on the shore of the great lake. Lately it has turned into a tourist centre with the number of sights, cafes, hotels and tourists exceeding the number of residents.

Stop in Taltsy Wooden Architecture Museum en route to Listvyanka.

A trip to the wooden architecture museum Taltsy. In the museum you’ll see the settlements of indigenous Siberian people of 17th-20th centuries. Some of the buildings presented in the museum were brought there from the villages that were flooded after building a dam in Irkutsk.

A stop at the Shaman Stone observation platform next to the Angara’s outflow from the lake, where you will hear a beautiful local legend and learn some curious customs connected with this place.

Day 11 : Listvyanka

Tour around Listvyanka

A trip to Listvyanka by car. Guided tour to the local Baikal museum that has a set of aquariums. There is one with the only mammal representative, the Baikal Seal, in it. 

Take a chair-lift to a nearby view point. There you’ll get a chance to take panoramic pictures of Baikal from above. Lunch with Baikal cuisine. Enjoy your visit to a local 19th century wooden St.Nicolas church and a local fish market where you’ll see a great variety of fish.

A boat trip along the expenses of the Baikal (1 h).

Transfer to Irkutsk.

DAY 12 : Irkutsk — Ulan-Ude

Excursion to the main local sight – Ivolginskiy datsan – a functioning Buddhist monastery, which is also the capital of Buddhism in Russia.

Transfer to Old Believers’ village. Old Believers or Semeyskie live in Buryatia since 1800es. They preserve their traditional way of life, cuisine and folklore traditions. Their wooden houses are richly decorated with bright leaves, flowers, birds.

Transfer back to Ulan-Ude.
